Local Rules
- Out of Bounds (Rule 27-1). A ball is out of bounds if it lies:
- Beyond any fence, wall or hedge bounding the course.
- 2nd Hole - Beyond the line of white posts to the RHS
of the fairway.
- 5th Hole Beyond the line of white posts to the right
of the 5th hole, beyond the burn, between the 5th and
4th holes or in the grounds of Craigs Farm.
- Water Hazards (Rule 26-1)
The burns crossing the 1st, 4th and 5th holes, and the burn behind the 14th.
- Lateral Water Hazards (Rule 26 1c)
The burn to the 2nd, 4th, 10th and 18th fairways and to the right of the 2nd, 5th and 14th fairways.
- Ground Under Repair (Rule 25-1c)
- Plantations.
- Any area designated as Ground Under Repair.
- Any outcrops of the rock on the fairways.
- The channels defining the tree plantation between the 15th and 17th holes.
- The intercept drains adjacent to the 5th, 6th, 14th and 15th greens.
- Divot marks filled with sand or earth- Relief must be taken.
- Any deep depression made by tractors or green keeping equipment.
- Vandalised areas of the green of repair thereto.
- Plantations - lost Ball (Rule 25 1c)
Ball Lost Under Condition Covered by Rule 25-1. It is a question of fact whether a ball lost after having been struck toward a condition covered by Rule 25-1 is lost under such condition, there must be reasonable evidence to that effect. Once verified by playing, the player shall, without penalty, substitute another ball by dropping in the drop zone provided. In the absence of such evidence, the ball must be treated as a lost ball and Rule 27 applies.
- Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
- Wells at the 5th and 14th holes.
- Staked trees, including such stakes.
- Paths and Steps
- Pop up sprinkler heads and hydrant covers
- NOTE: If the ball lies within 2 club lengths of sprinkler it may be lifted and dropped at nearest point which offers relief from intervention on line of play.
- Movable Obstructions (Rule 21-1)
Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions.
- Temporary Rules
Any temporary local rules is to be in addition to the above
rules.
