Local Rules

  1. Out of bounds. All ground outside boundary walls and fences is out of bounds. The Burn on the right of the 6th fairway is deemed a lateral water hazard.
  2. A ball may with the knowledge of opponent or marker, be lifted and dropped as near as possible to there it lay, but not nearer to the hole, WITHOUT PENALTY, if it lies in a rabbit scrape, cart rut, or mark made by a motor tractor.
    Note: A ball must be played as it lies if it be on a path, except as allowed for in the Rules of Golf or Local Rules.
  3. Plugged Ball A Ball ‘PLUGGED’ (ie, firmly embedded in its own mark) through the green, except if it lie in a hazard, may with the consent of the opponent or marker, be lifted and dropped as near as possible to its original position but not nearer to the hole without penalty.
  4. All putting greens on the 18th hole course are defined as "Wrong Putting Greens". (Rules of Golf ­ Rule 35 ­ IJ).
